March Beauty Goodness From Beauty Box 5

The following is a review for which I was compensated with product.
March Beauty Box from BeautyBox5.com

Hooray! My March Beauty Box arrived from Beauty Box 5
In case you aren't familiar,  Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers 5 cosmetic samples to your door for a nominal fee. That's beauty goodness in your mailbox every month! It's awesome. Check out my first review here and then read on.

As soon as I opened my box, I had a favorite. I will remain objective for this product review, I  promise. But you will have to tear me away from the Coconut Lime Shea Body Butter by Tree Hut! I sooo love coconut anything, so I had high hopes for this particular product. Read my review below, along with reviews on the other goodies I received.

Shea Body Butter by Tree Hut

Coconut Lime Shea Body Butter

The Verdict: It is everything I was hoping it would be! Thick, rich, creamy body butter feels like silk on the skin. Lasting softness and the light coconut fragrance is sweetly tropical and dreamy. From Tree Hut, 7 oz retails for $7.49.

Hand and Nail Cream by H2O Plus

Targeted Care SPA Hand and Nail Care

The Verdict: This hand cream is super lightweight. I like that it doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy, but the goodness is very short-lived. I find myself reapplying often. The fragrance is a slightly offensive, soapy smell which can be quite overpowering. From H2O+,  6 oz retails for $15.00.

All Natural Soap by Jane's Pick

All Natural Soap

The Verdict: This soap is very mild and rinses away very clean, which surprised me after I read the ingredients, which include Italian Olive Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, and Avocado Oil. My skin is soft and feels nurtured after using this soap. From Jane's Pick, 5 oz retails for $8.00.

Dual-Sided Facial Pad

Dual-Sided Facial Pad

The Verdict:
The facial pad is a great exfoliating tool when used with any facial cleanser. There are two sides, one terry cloth for regular cleansing and one loofa side for exfoliating. I would limit the exfoliation to only using cleanser, as using a scrub in conjunction with the loofa may cause excessive irritation to the delicate facial skin. Unfortunately my product came with a break in the loofa side and was slightly irritating to the skin.   By Swissco, One Size retails for $2.00.

Makeup Base by Bellapierre Cosmetics

Makeup Base

The Verdict: This thick cake-like makeup works great as a concealer and an eye shadow primer. It is not a traditional makeup base, as it is extremely dry. It does a great job as a spot illuminator and the small size is great for carrying in the purse for those quick touchups throughout the day. From Bellapierre Cosmetics, 0.29 oz retails for $18.99
