Beauty products have become a staple for women worldwide, but with so many of them out there how do you choose? From the cheaply made to the ultra expensive, it’s easy to understand why the cosmetics and beauty industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. Here are three beauty products you’ve probably never heard of but need to add to your makeup bag.
• Rider.Cosmetics Lash Builder (www.RiderCosmetics.com) –This Australian owned beauty company has a whole array of products you need to check out, but my favorite is the lash enhancer. Who doesn’t want long, thick lashes? You can pay $300 or more for lash extensions every three weeks or you can spend $69 on a product that will last one to two months and give you comparable results. The active ingredient in the lash builder is pentapeptide, which stimulates cells and helps regenerate damaged tissue around the lashes. The result is hair regeneration and thick lashes that will make anyone jealous! Use this product nightly and pair it with a coat of your regular mascara in the morning for lashes that rock all day long.
• OPI’s GelShine Nail System –This product is a must have for you manicure or nail polish junkies. How many of you still get gel nails put on? Think of that $30-40 you spend every one to two weeks to get your nails done, and this product pays for itself in no time. You can buy it at Sephora and it comes with all the same tools the professionals use. Not having to make nail appointments anymore got me pretty excited. The best part is you can order all your favorite colors from your favorite beauty store too.
• E.l.f. Lip Stain – If you consider yourself a beauty junkie and haven’t heard of E.L.F. yet, you need to stop what you’re doing and head there right now. E.L.F. stands for Eyes Lips Face and this beauty company has just about every beauty product you can think of. My favorite is the lip stain, which ranges in price from $2 to $3. Lip stains tend to last longer and look more natural than lipstick, and this one happens to be my favorite. Add a dab of lip gloss and it looks even better!
In the ever evolving world of beauty it’s no doubt there’s still so many best kept secrets. Don’t keep yourself in the dark, branch out and try new products from time to time to find out what you like best and shake up your cosmetics bag. These are my three favorite picks and I swear by them.
