Spring 2012 Color Trends

Everything old is new again, or so they say. This year's Spring color trends are no exception.

The theme this Spring is color. Lots and lots of bright, flashy color.

Remember Dittos; Those bright, colorful denim pants popular in the 1980's? (I had a red pair) Well, they're back.  And the fashion colors and styles this Spring are reflection of their neon influence.

This Spring, it looks like bright is IN.   Bold blocks of solid brights and funky print patterns rule the runways, it seems.

If you are like me, there is just never enough color. So, this overabundance of color is just what the doctor ordered. Choose the boldest, brightest colors you can find, but don't stop there. This season, you can safely layer multiple solid colors, mix and match, and completely throw out the color rules of staying within the same tonal family.  I have seen tangerine orange and pink worn together-successfully.

If you are not sure which colors to choose, simply look outside. Choose from the brightest flowers in the garden. Don't forget to add a few new colors to your makeup collection, as well. Pick a few lovely new lipstick shades to match your new wardrobe. Be bold and cheery.

Basically, Spring 2012 gives you carte blanche to make bold choices with fashion.  Don't shy away from color. Embrace the latest Spring 2012 color trends and give your wardrobe and your spirit a boost!
